How the calculation works
Alternate upper/lower mappings across Unicode letters, starting with uppercase; nonletters do not advance the sequence. Text remains in the browser. Words are groups of letters or numbers. Apostrophes, hyphens and underscores stay inside a word. Character counts use Unicode code points, which can differ from visible symbols. Mapping may expand some letters; the output is stylistic text, not linguistic correction.
