Why use this tool?

Compare holiday apartment plans with a clear cost scope and one currency.

How the calculation works

Average daily cost = total trip cost ÷ positive day equivalents; fractional day equivalents are allowed. Choose whether your apartment total includes cleaning fees, booking fees and other charges. Refundable deposits and shared travel costs are included only if you enter them. Define whether day equivalents include arrival and departure portions; no dates or nights are inferred. Amounts use the selected currency’s standard minor units; halfway amounts round away from zero and nonzero subminor values are identified. Currency selection labels values without an exchange rate.

Example

Worked example (GBP): Total Trip Cost = 660; Trip Days = 6. Result: £110.00 per day.

Practical tip

Define the total cost and night/day/group basis before comparing stays.

Frequently asked questions

Which holiday apartment costs are included?

Choose whether your apartment total includes cleaning fees, booking fees and other charges. Refundable deposits and shared travel costs are included only if you enter them.

Does the currency selector convert prices?

No. Enter all amounts in one currency. The selected currency labels and rounds the result without an exchange-rate conversion.

How should I use the rounded result?

The result is a rounded average in the selected currency. Multiplying rounded averages back by the count can differ from the total; it is not an individual payment allocation.
