Sort scores, measurements or other numeric entries without the alphabetical-order problem where 10 can appear before 2. Decimal values and negative numbers can be compared.
How the calculation works
Compare exact decimal rational values; preserve original text of each numeric line and stable equal-value order. Entries are non-empty trimmed lines. Blank lines are ignored; repeated entries remain separate row slots unless the tool explicitly removes duplicates. Commas inside a line are retained. One supported signed number per line; malformed or out-of-range values are rejected. Decimal spellings are preserved rather than rewritten.

Practical tip
Remove headings and unit suffixes first: each line must contain a number.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sort decimals and negative numbers?
Yes. Enter one supported signed number per line. A malformed entry produces an error rather than being silently skipped.
Are equal values or duplicate entries removed?
No. Equal numeric values keep their original order, and their original text is preserved. For example, 2 and 2.0 remain separate entries.
How do I copy the result or start again?
Select Copy result after running the tool to copy the displayed answer. Reset clears the text and result, so keep a separate copy of any text you want to save.
