How the calculation works

Count five weekdays per complete seven-day block, then count weekdays in the remaining inclusive dates. Both endpoints are included when they fall Monday to Friday. Reversed dates are sorted. Public holidays, local weekends and working patterns are not deducted. Dates use the Gregorian calendar in years 0100–9999 and are independent of browser timezone offsets. Calendar days have no daylight-saving duration adjustment. Outputs outside this date range are rejected.
