Cost per kilometre = entered total cost ÷ kilometres travelled. Enter all travel legs you want to include in the commute; a return leg is not doubled automatically. Fuel estimates exclude parking, fares, tolls, maintenance and other costs unless a total-cost field explicitly includes them. Only costs included in the total are represented; this is an average, not a marginal or quoted tariff. Amounts use the selected currency’s standard minor units; halfway amounts round away from zero and nonzero subminor values are identified. Currency selection labels values without an exchange rate.
