Money displays use the selected currency’s standard minor units, including whole yen for JPY. Exact decimal arithmetic precedes rounding; halfway minor units round away from zero. Numeric input/result magnitudes are bounded by 9,007,199,254,740,991.

Practical tip

Use a consistent quantity such as kilograms, litres or identical items. A mixed basket needs an explicitly chosen comparison unit.
