Check the method as well as the answer

Choose the calculation that matches the question. A grade percentage divides earned points by possible points; a weighted average uses the weights you provide. Geometry tools need the correct shape and consistent units for every dimension.

Keep unrounded values when using one answer in another calculation, then round as the question or course requires. Grade tools do not determine your institution's pass rules, letter-grade boundaries or assessment policy. Follow those rules for submitted work.

Compare fraction representations

Convert the same numerator and denominator to a decimal and a percentage. Enter the original fraction in both tools to avoid carrying a rounded decimal into the second calculation.

  2. 2. Fraction to percentage

Common questions

Why does a fraction sometimes produce a rounded decimal?

Some fractions have repeating decimal expansions. The converter displays a limited decimal result; read its rounding note before using that value in further work.

Does the missing-side calculator work for every triangle?

No. Right Triangle Missing Dimension uses the Pythagorean relationship for a right triangle. Choose the correct known-sides option and do not use it for a triangle without a right angle.
